Coming home again

Whoever said you can’t go home again apparently has never met the folks at Molded Products Inc.

The Broken Arrow company founded in 1986 is returning to its roots after 21 years with a planned expansion and 15 new jobs.

Molded Products initially focused on providing rubber molded goods for the automotive aftermarket. As the company grew, the focus evolved to being a provider of contract manufacturing for a multitude of industrial markets. Although the company still sells to the automotive aftermarket, its business strategy is now concentrated on providing all necessary services and engineering to design, build tooling and mold quality rubber products for customers in a variety of markets.

The company recently broke ground on a new 30,000-square-foot facility in Wagoner County.

It currently has 30 permanent employees, plus 10 temporary employees. Another 15 are expected in the near future.
