It’s a Winner: Made in Oklahoma Restaurant of The Year crowned
Co-owner Steve Degraffenreid said that since his father started Boom-A-Rang 25-plus years ago, Made in Oklahoma products have always been used there.
“The truth is that great food, fast just doesn’t go out of style. People not only talk about the best burger they have ever eaten but they speak of the genuine service and spotless restaurants. His vision is and always has been to treat every customer special. Come and visit one of our locations and you will see why we have been voted best burger, best breakfast and best waitress. Boom-A-Rang is not fast food but it is great food fast,” the company’s website says.
MIO launched in 2000 to promote brand awareness and consumer loyalty for Oklahoma food and agricultural products, increase sales and expand Oklahoma’s food processing sector.
What started out as an organization of less than a dozen Oklahoma food manufacturers has grown into a 60+ member Coalition representing more than 28,000 employees and generating $4.1 billion in sales.
